About

Ideenschmiede is the small product studio of Thomas Sittig, a freelance full-stack developer in Cologne.

The products are independent and mostly editorial: guides to coliving and long stays, a directory of spaces, tools for remote workers and job seekers. Each one starts as an idea that would not leave, gets built when there is time for it, and is then kept running rather than left to rot.

The projects board lists every one of them, with what is live, what is still being built, and what was retired. Failures stay on the list; so does what happened to them.

No investors, no growth targets, no affiliate deals. If something here is useful to you, or wrong, the imprint has the address.
